Their energetic, politically engaged rock carries on, in its own way, the East Village tradition of protest songs — only much heavier.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eIn 2013, the EP \u003cem\u003eNew York, I Do Mind Dying\u003c\/em\u003e led them to meet Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave, Prophets Of Rage). This connection brought drummer Brad Wilk into TLI for two years. Their debut album, \u003cem\u003eWe Will Reign\u003c\/em\u003e, produced by Brendan O’Brien, was released by Epic in 2014; the band quickly left the major label behind to regain their independence.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eFrance discovered them in late February 2020 with the album \u003cem\u003eSoul on Fire\u003c\/em\u003e — executive-produced by Tom Morello and featuring Joey Castillo (Queens of The Stone Age) on drums. The response was remarkable: two appearances on \u003cem\u003eTaratata\u003c\/em\u003e, the title track reaching No. 1 on OÜI FM’s playlist, interviews and sessions on RTL, RTL2 and Europe 1, extensive press and online coverage, and a sold-out club tour. Originally scheduled for mid-March, the album’s physical release in France had to be postponed until early June due to lockdown, while the pandemic put the band’s presence in France on hold.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eIn 2022, Delila and Edgey returned to the stage at Hellfest, then at Lollapalooza (on the Pearl Jam day), opening for Kiss and Guns N’ Roses, as well as performing in numerous clubs. In 2023, TLI released \u003cem\u003eRunning for a Dream\u003c\/em\u003e, a 100% independently produced studio album, and continued touring clubs and opening for Shaka Ponk (with whom the band are friends) and Extreme. In 2024, their appearance at the Heavy Weekend in Nancy marked the beginning of their relationship with Vivienne Music. \u003cem\u003eLive in Europe\u003c\/em\u003e followed in 2025.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"auto\"\u003eIn 2025 and 2026, the duo returned to tour France.
